Helping hands volunteer program
Baylor Scott & White Health Helping Hands is a volunteer program for anyone passionate about healthcare or simply interested in giving back to their community. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old and be willing to provide at least six months of volunteer service.
The volunteer opportunities listed below are available at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – College Station or Baylor Scott & White Clinic – College Station Rock Prairie.

Note: Adult applications cannot be filled out by those who are currently enrolled in high school or college courses.
There are opportunities in areas throughout the hospital and clinic.
Help people make purchases and provide a listening ear.
- Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
- Hours: 1:00 – 5:00 PM
Lobby area maintenance and concierge services.
Help people make purchases and provide a listening ear.
- Days: Friday
- Hours: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Visit with patients, escort patients/visitors and provide golf cart and wheelchair transport for patients.
Teaming up with a pet and handler, you will escort the pet and handler to patient rooms and sanitize areas as needed.
- Days: One volunteer per weekday
- Hours: Four hours a week
