BSW HWC offers a course to empower people with diabetes with tools, so they can effectively manage and live successfully with diabetes. The classes consist of four two-hour sessions that cover the seven Healthy Habits outlined by the American Association of Diabetes Educators. Attendance requires a physician's referral and most insurance companies, including Medicare, offer benefits for coverage. This program is offered in English and Spanish.
