Online childbirth class
This online childbirth class is an alternative for those who cannot attend a class in person here in Temple due to bed rest, scheduling conflicts or time constraints. This interactive, web-based childbirth class includes animated illustrations, videos and interactive games. The class is perfect to refresh parents that have already experienced childbirth. This course will be accessible from the time you receive your access code. This course is offered at no cost.
Online breastfeeding class
Our online breastfeeding class provides busy parents with information on breastfeeding at your own pace in the comfort of your home. This is an interactive web-based program that includes animated illustrations and videos. This course will provide parents with the information and skills to successfully breastfeed. Topics include benefits of breastfeeding, what to expect as a new breastfeeding mom, pumping techniques and proper latch. This course will be accessible from the time you receive your access code. This course is offered at no cost.
Hospital tour
Our hospital tour is offered on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month and offers parents and siblings an opportunity to prepare for the big day. We will review the registration process, take a tour of Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple and answer any questions that might help ease any anxiety and make the process more enjoyable! This tour is offered at no cost. Please note: Tours are also offered as a part of the childbirth class.
