Nathan F. Gilbert, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in orthopedic oncology, musculoskeletal tumors and complex joint reconstruction who sees patients in Dallas. He focuses on the diagnosis and ... treatment of benign and malignant bone and soft tissue tumors, sarcomas and metastatic bone disease, helping patients navigate complex orthopedic conditions through comprehensive, personalized care. His expertise includes musculoskeletal oncology, limb preservation surgery, skeletal reconstruction, revision joint replacement surgery, treatment of infected joint replacements and complex orthopedic reconstruction.

Dr. Gilbert is committed to restoring function, preserving mobility and improving quality of life for patients facing orthopedic cancers and challenging musculoskeletal conditions. He works closely with multidisciplinary care teams to develop individualized treatment plans utilizing the latest advances in orthopedic oncology, limb salvage surgery and reconstructive techniques.

In addition to treating bone and soft tissue tumors, Dr. Gilbert specializes in revision hip and knee replacement surgery for patients experiencing failed joint replacements, joint infections or other complex reconstruction needs. He also performs primary hip and knee replacement procedures and a variety of general orthopedic surgeries.
