Patients appreciate
Patients consistently praise Dr. Osman Mir for his thoroughness, clear communication, and compassionate bedside manner. Many reviews highlight how he takes time to explain diagnoses, test results, and treatment options in detail, often using imaging and charts to help patients understand their conditions. Numerous patients specifically appreciated that he listens carefully to their concerns, answers questions patiently, and does not make them feel rushed. Several stroke patients noted that he spent more time with them than other specialists and provided the most complete explanations of causes and prevention strategies. His medical knowledge and expertise, particularly in neurology and stroke care, were frequently praised, with multiple patients expressing strong confidence in his skills and even traveling long distances to see him.
Patients also share
A few reviews pointed to scheduling and wait-time issues as areas for improvement. One patient mentioned significant delays in getting an appointment after having a stroke, while another described a long wait in the exam room without updates from staff, suggesting appointments may be scheduled too close together. A separate review noted difficulty understanding the doctor due to the patient's own hearing challenges, though they added that he remained patient throughout the interaction. These comments were isolated rather than widespread, but they point to potential friction points around timeliness and accessibility.
