He specializes in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder ... and knee, treating a wide range of sports injuries and orthopedic conditions, including ACL tears, meniscus injuries, rotator cuff tears, shoulder instability, shoulder dislocations, knee ligament injuries and arthritis. His expertise includes ACL reconstruction, arthroscopic knee surgery, arthroscopic shoulder surgery, rotator cuff repair, labral repair, shoulder stabilization procedures and shoulder replacement surgery. Dr. Rhodes is dedicated to helping athletes and active individuals of all ages return to the activities they enjoy. He provides advanced surgical and non-surgical treatment options for sports-related injuries, leveraging the latest techniques to restore function, relieve pain and optimize recovery. Dr. Rhodes is among the first surgeons in North Texas to offer advanced ACL restoration procedures using innovative implant technology that helps preserve and heal the patient's own ligament. Unlike traditional ACL reconstruction, which requires replacing the torn ligament with a tendon graft, this approach supports the body's natural healing process. The implant, a resorbable bovine collagen scaffold, is gradually replaced by the patient's own tissue, blood vessels and collagen, allowing the ACL to heal while maintaining its natural anatomy. Throughout his career, he has cared for professional, collegiate, high school and amateur athletes, including competitors from the WNBA, NFL, professional tennis, mixed martial arts, CrossFit and numerous North Texas high school athletic programs.
