Immunotherapy program

Immunotherapy uses the power of your own immune system to better fight cancer. And our team has been leading the way in these innovative treatments for years. Baylor University Medical Center was the first in North Texas to offer adult commercial use of chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy (CAR T) to treat patients with large B-cell lymphoma and acute lymphoblastic leukemia, as well as one of the first hospitals in the United States to offer lymphocytes (TIL) cellular therapy treatment for people with metastatic melanoma. Today, we offer immunotherapy as an option for a range of cancer types.
